Zitat: "The 4 500GB platter HDD Caviar Green is advertised from start by Western Digital that it is suitable for data storage, and not for high performance gaming PCs. In all tests, this particular HDD succeeded to render better performances than the 320GB Seagate Barracuda HDD, from the older generation, 7200.10. This drive compensates with its low operating temperatures (after the 424 minutes test for HDD bad sectors, the drive reached only 47 degrees Celsius, with no cooling at all attached to it), and stays as low as 36 degrees Celsius in normal operation conditions. The drive is also very, silent, in read/write operations, but also in seek operations, compared to the other 2 Seagate HDDs. I have rated it 9.5 regarding performance, because it has a pretty nice performance overall, in the disks used for storage segment (not gaming or high performance drives). The only objection I have regarding this product is its price, which is a little high at this moment."
