Canons neue digitale Spiegelreflexkamera EOS-1Ds Mark III bietet eine Auflösung von 21 Megapixel, einen Vollformat-CMOS-Sensor (36 x 24 Millimeter) und ein drei Zoll großes TFT-Display. Das Profi-Modell kann Serien mit maximal fünf Bildern pro Sekunde und bis zu 56 JPEGs hintereinander beziehungsweise zwölf im RAW-Format aufnehmen, bevor eine Speicherpause eingelegt werden muss. Die Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III ist ab Oktober im Handel erhältlich.
